
CBA earned its spot in the Suburban Council boys’ soccer tournament semifinals with a 3-1 win Tuesday against Albany.
Second-seeded CBA received two goals from Sumahri Stewart, while Jordan Proulx’s score in the 44th minute broke a 1-1 tie to put the Brothers ahead for good.
CBA will host third-seeded Niskayuna in Thursday’s semifinals.
In a Suburban Council boys’ soccer consolation tournament matchup, Xavier Schlemmer and David Walczyk each scored in Troy’s 2-1 win against Burnt Hills. Park Scott scored for the Spartans.
In a Suburban Council girls’ soccer consolation tournament game, Albany won 10-0 against Schenectady. Say Lay Paw had three goals, Ingrid Colafati and AnnaKate Sheehan each had two goals and an assist, and Maya Campbell had two goals.
