
Two Fulton County men were killed in a one-vehicle crash early Friday morning on Route 29, west of the city of Johnstown, state troopers said.
The crash reported at 12:10 a.m. killed vehicle operator, Alexander R. Simon, 27, of Mayfield, and passenger Zachary H. Luck, 25, of Johnstown, troopers said. Both were pronounced dead at the scene by the Fulton County coroner, troopers said.
A preliminary investigation determined that Simon and Luck were traveling eastbound on Route 29 near County Highway 116 when their vehicle left the roadway and collided with several trees, police said. The highway was closed for several hours. Troopers said the investigation into the accident is continuing.
