Worker at Glenville library tested positive for COVID

GLENVILLE — An employee of the Glenville branch of the Schenectady County Public Library tested positive for the novel coronavirus last week.

County Health Services reported that an employee at the 20 Glenridge Road library branch worked there on Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 1 to 5 p.m.

Schenectady Public Health Services has identified and quarantined close contacts of the individual. Health services said there is a low risk of exposure and that members of the public who visited the library that day should monitor themselves for covid-19 symptoms for 14 days. If symptoms do develop, individuals should stay home and call their doctor and county health at (518) 386-2824.
