SCHENECTADY – Multiple COVID positives have been connected to a Skeeter Creek music event at Frog Alley in Schenectady, local health officials said.
The positive individuals do not report being part of the same group at the Nov. 25 event, officials said.
The Schoharie County Department of Health reported four confirmed COVID-19 cases associated with attending the event.
A release from the Schenectady County indicated multiple positives linked to the event.
The officials are advising that anyone who attended the Nov. 25 event to monitor themselves for symptoms and if symptoms develop to self-quarantine and and get tested.
The state offers specific COVID guidance for State Liquor Authority-licensed businesses that allows for on-premises music, but it must be not advertised, “incidental to the dining experience and not the draw itself.”
