LOUDONVILLE — The Siena men’s basketball program’s rescheduled MAAC games against Canisius will take place Dec. 26-27, the school announced Wednesday.

Siena was scheduled to play Canisius this Friday and Saturday, but needed to postpone those games after its recent pandemic-related pause of in-person activities. That pause ended earlier this week, with the Saints able to resume in-person activities on Tuesday.

Siena’s Dec. 26 game at Alumni Recreation Center will start at 1 p.m. and the next day’s game will start at 4 p.m.

The Saints have not played a game yet this season. The team’s first game is scheduled to take place Dec. 22 at Drexel in a non-conference matchup.

The Siena women’s basketball team lost back-to-back games to start its season last week, then announced Monday it needed to pause in-person activities for two weeks because of a positive COVID-19 test result.
