
SCHENECTADY — A man has been transported to Ellis Medicine following an early-morning car fire in the city.
Authorities responded to a fully-involved vehicle fire at Gerling Street and Oakland Avenue at 5:58 a.m. Thursday morning, city police said.
First-responders discovered two people upon arrival.
A man was transported to Ellis Medicine by a city police officer, officials said, although it is unclear if his medical condition was related to the fire itself.
The cause of the fire is unknown. The occupants were not in the vehicle when city police arrived.
