For the 24th year, Price Chopper/Market 32 is lighting up Albany’s Washington Park for the holiday season, with all proceeds to benefit the juvenile crime prevention programs at the Albany Police Athletic League [PAL].

The holiday light festival is also adjusting to COVID-19 restrictions and protocols through the use of a contactless ticket system.

Families purchase tickets for their vehicles, with prices ranging from $25 for a passenger car to $125 for commercial vehicles.

Accompanying the tour of the Night at Lights, Albany Broadcasting stations B95.5, JAMZ 96.3, FLY 92.3, 100.9 The Cat and Magic 590 AM take turns entertaining visitors during their journey.

A new addition to the Capital Holiday Lights in the Park includes four food vendors: A Couple of Nuts, Dog-E-Style, Mazz’s Kettle Korn and Rollin’ Smoke BBQ.

With a donation to the PAL for $50, your visit can be included on a digital sign board for all vehicles to see. There is a limit of six greetings per night, rotating on the electronic sign throughout the evening.
