LOUDONVILLE — Siena men’s basketball announced Friday evening that it had again paused in-person team activities “following multiple positive COVID-19 test results stemming from the program’s Tier 1 personnel.”

The team’s Dec. 22 game at Drexel, Dec. 26-27 matchups vs. Canisius and Dec. 29 game vs. Towson have been postponed.

“Obviously this is disappointing for our team and our loyal fans, but we must put the health and well-being of our student athletes above everything else,” head coach Carmen Maciariello said in a statement released through the school’s athletic department. “The team has been working hard, and this is just another obstacle that we will overcome. We can’t wait to get back on the court and play Siena Basketball.”

This is Siena’s third pause since starting preseason practices.

This report will be updated.
