
Amsterdam cracked the 1,000 pin mark in all three games, and opened its Foothills Council boys’ bowling season with a 4-0 victory over Scotia-Glenville Tuesday.
Mekhi Curry rolled Amsterdam’s high single with a 247 and high triple with a 649. Donavan Lazier added a 616 triple for the Rams. Jacob Leffler turned in a 202-574 for the Tartans, and Nick Auspellmyer had a 193-541.
Jack Rupp rolled a 286 triple and a 724 triple to lead Saratoga past Niskyuna 5-0 in a Suburban Council boys’ match. Niskayuna got a 677 from Michael Barry and a 666 out of Kyle Smith.
Averill Park used its 3,364-3,298 pin advantage to earn two points in a 3-2 win over Bethlehem. Parker Brown’s 664 toped Averill Park. Lucas Feltman delivered a 702 three-game set with a 256 single for Bethlehem.
Shaun Turnbull’s 638 anchored Voorheesville’s 23-9 Colonial Council win over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk.
