Schenectady schools giving out 7-day food boxes ahead of holidays

Schenectady school district families can pick up food boxes Wednesday and Thursday with a week worth of meals ahead of the winter school break.

Boxes full of seven days of meals and snacks for students can be picked up from schools across the district Wednesday and just at Schenectady High School on a final pickup day Thursday. Here’s a list.

Between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday:  

  • Central Park Middle School
  • Former Elmer School Building
  • Fulton School
  • Hamilton Elementary School
  • Howe Elementary School
  • Keane Elementary School
  • King Elementary School
  • Mont Pleasant Middle School
  • Oneida Middle School
  • Paige Elementary School
  • Schenectady High School (Fine Arts Wing)
  • Van Corlaer Elementary School
  • Washington Irving
  • Woodlawn Elementary School
  • Yates Elementary School
  • Zoller Elementary School

Between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Wednesday:

  • Central Park Middle School
  • Keane Elementary School
  • Mont Pleasant Middle School
  • Oneida Middle School
  • Paige Elementary School
  • Schenectady High School
  • Van Corlaer Elementary School

Between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Thursday:

  • Schenectady High School
