WILTON – An Amsterdam mother and her Providence daughter have been arrested, accused of both accused of burglary related to the Wilton Walmart, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said.

The two are also accused of including a child in the incident, officials said.

Kim Baylis, 55, of Amsterdam, and Jessika L. Baylis, 32, of Providence, were each arrested Friday and charged with one count each of third-degree burglary, a felony, and misdemeanor petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child.

Deputies responded to the Wilton Walmart for a report of a theft. They soon determined that the mother and daughter stole merchandise from the store after having been previously advised they were not allowed on the premises, leading to the burglary charges.

The child endangerment charge relates to allegations they included the child in their activities that led to their arrests, officials said.

The two were processed and released to appear in court later.
