The Siena women’s basketball game at Canisius scheduled for Sunday has been postponed due to COVID-19 related protocols and contact tracing among Tier 1 members of the Canisius women’s basketball program, officials from Siena, Canisius and the MAAC announced Sunday morning.

According to the announcement, the status of Monday’s game between the teams, set for 1 p.m. at Canisius, will be determined later Sunday as Canisius continues to work through COVID-19 protocol and further contact tracing.

More information will be announced by the MAAC and both schools as it becomes available.

Siena (0-2) hasn’t played since Dec. 12 and recently made its return to team activities following a two-week pandemic-related pause.
