Niskayuna High School graduate and Las Vegas showgirl Danielle Flahive got more than she bargained for on the latest episode of “Pawn Stars.”

Flahive appeared on the History Channel show hoping to sell a suit her father had for years, one he said was once worn by Billy Gibbons of the legendary rock group ZZ Top.

The vibrant red-orange suit, featuring embroidered cacti and rhinestones, was designed by Nuta Kotlyarenko (known professionally as Nudie Cohn), who also made suits for John Wayne and Cher. It came with the original label inside.

Flahive initially asked for $25,000, but the hosts brought in Gibbons, who confirmed that he had lost that same suit when he was traveling in 1974. He told Elizabeth a suit like that could go for double her asking price.

“I’ve changed my offer,” Flahive immediately told the host.

Gibbons, who said he didn’t want to see the suit walk out the door, joined with “Pawn Stars” host Rick Harrison as each went in for half of the suit’s $40,000 purchase price. They plan to donate it to Antone’s, a blues venue in Austin, Texas.

Flahive grew up dancing at Schenectady’s Ramsey School of Ballet and in Ballet North, the school’s ballet company. She went on to study advertising and marketing at SUNY Cortland, though she continued to dance, eventually landing a spot on “Jubilee!” at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino, in which she performed through the end of the show’s run in 2016.

Since then, she’s gone on to perform in and host the burlesque show “Crazy Girls” in Las Vegas. Through the years, she’s also had the chance to dance with the likes of CeeLo Green, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez, both in Las Vegas and on the “Ellen” show.
