The Saratoga County Sheriff’s office is investigating a robbery at the Halfmoon Walmart on Route 9 Thursday afternoon.
After putting out a description of the Nissan Ultima, Sheriff Michael Zurlo said the New York State Police picked up the car heading westbound on Route 146 in Clifton Park toward Niskayuna.
The pursuit began at 1:50 p.m., according to state police, and ended around 2 p.m. in Schenectady. One suspect is in custody.
State police could be seen looking at a car on Walnut Street in Schenectady with Schenectady police on scene.
Further information on the Thursday chase was not immediately available.
The chase was the second involving Halfmoon in three days.
The first chase began just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday and also started in Halfmoon, officials said.
In that case, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding and having no tail lamps on Farm to Market Road. The vehicle, however, fled and deputies located it a short distance away unoccupied at the intersection of Smith Road, officials said.
A sheriff’s K-9 unit soon assisted in locating the operator on Cary Road and arrested him.
Adam M. Concepcion, 27, of Clifton Park, was charged in that case with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, unlawful fleeing a police officer and reckless driving, misdemeanors.
Deputies determined the vehicle in the Tuesday case was reported stolen out of Colonie, officials said.
Concepcion was processed and released to appear in court later.
