High school boys’ skiing: Ballston Spa wins pair of races at Gore

The Ballston Spa boys’ alpine ski team captured both races Monday morning at the Shenendehowa Invitational at Gore Mountain.

Christian Brothers Academy skier Cole Paton raced to first-place finishes in both events, his best time being 40.85 seconds on his second run.

Ballston Spa’s Ethan Huff placed second in both runs for the Scotties, with a best time of 41.38 on his first run. Teammate Brody Keneston finished fourth on his second run at 42.77. He combined with teammate Cole Evans finishing 11th at 44.04 to claim the top team spot for the second time Monday.
