For the second straight week, the Siena men’s basketball team swept both MAAC weekly awards, as sophomore guard Jordan King was named the MAAC Player of the Week and freshman forward Colin Golson was named the league’s Rookie of the Week.

King set career highs in scoring in back-to-back games as Siena (6-0, 6-0) swept its weekend series at Rider with 21 points on Friday and 22 on Saturday. Golson averaged 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in the two-game series — the first two appearances of his collegiate career — including 14 points on 6 of 10 shooting in Saturday’s win.

A week ago, Saints players also captured both honors when Manny Camper was named Player of the Week and Aidan Carpenter earned Rookie of the Week plaudits.
