
SCHENECTADY – Firefighters rescued to rabbits from a fire that damaged a home Thursday afternoon.
Both rabbits were taken to a veterinarian to be checked out.
No residents or firefighters were injured.
The fire was called in just after 3 p.m. at 1907 Jerome Ave. Firefighters arrived to find a small fire in the rear of the building.
The fire remained under investigation, but is not considered suspicious, officials said.
