
SCHENECTADY — The Chamber of Schenectady County is accepting nominations for the 2021 Good News Awards.
The annual awards recognize several types of achievement: exceptional growth or expansion in the prior 18 months; a new or renovated building; a significant anniversary; extraordinary community support; launch of a unique product or service in the past year; or being a success story during the COVID pandemic.
The 2020 recipients were: Clarkson University’s Education Department; Clinton Street Mercantile; Jack’s Place, Jack Falvo III Foundation of Schenectady; JDog Junk Removal & Hauling LLC; Patrick’s Union Street Barbershop; and Turf Tavern.
Nominations can be submitted online at Good News Awards Nominations until Feb. 12.
Award recipients will be honored at the Chamber’s annual Good News event on May 6.
The Chamber of Schenectady County is an affiliate of the Capital Region Chamber.
