Schenectady County issues low-risk COVID advisory for Broadway Lunch after employee positive

SCHENECTADY – Schenectady County Public Health Services Thursday issued a COVID advisory related to Broadway Lunch in Schenectady after an employee tested positive for the virus, officials said.

The advisory covers two separate dates. The employee worked at the restaurant from Feb. 8, from 4 to 8 p.m., and on Feb. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m., officials said.

“Although SCPHS believes there is a low risk of exposure, members of the public who visited Broadway Lunch during those times should monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from that date and consider getting tested,” the county advisory reads.

Broadway Lunch followed all guidance and has fully cooperated in the investigation, officials said.
