Home turf continues to be a welcome sight for the red-hot UAlbany women’s lacrosse team.

Katie Pascale had four goals and an assist, and Kendra Harbinger added three goals and three assists for UAlbany as the Great Danes remained perfect in five games at John Fallon Field this season by riding a 12-goal first half to a 19-13 America East Conference win Saturday against Binghamton.

It was the third-straight win and fifth victory in six games for UAlbany (2-0 America East, 5-2 overall) and comes on the heels of Tuesday’s 18-7 dismantling of No. 20 Hofstra.

Madison Conway also recorded a hat trick for UAlbany, while Bryar Hogg, Sarah Falk and Julia Imbo added two goals apiece on a day where nine different Great Danes found the back of the net.

UAlbany started the game with a 6-1 surge in the first 8:13 of the contest, with Harbinger and Pascale each scored twice during the early run.

Binghamton got as close as 7-5 later in the half, but UAlbany responded with three straight goals in less than two minutes and led by as many as seven while cruising to the victory.

Paige Volkmann scored six goals and Madison Murphy scored four for Binghamton (1-1, 1-1).

UAlbany now has a week off before next Saturday’s trip to Long Island for its first of two meetings this season against perennial America East powerhouse Stony Brook.
