The banner read “NEW YORKERS SAY: CUOMO’S GOT TO GO!”

It comes after many state politicians, including U.S. Sens. Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand have called for Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s resignation after a series of sexual harassment allegations made against him.

I want that banner saying “New Yorkers Say: Cuomo’s Got to Go! to be taken down permanently. I’m a New Yorker and I don’t say that at all. Why aren’t you letting us know who paid for that? That should be a headline in an of itself. How dare you print this picture. Stop it.

Peter Reilly

Cuomo has always been a jerk, but suddenly after all these years and political positions and right after Trump made a mystery visit to NY. That is why we need a closed inquiry. Too much has even leaked to the press. We all, even likely guilty people, deserve due process. It also provides these young women to tell their stories and alo be cross examined and witnesses. This has had the potential to be Al Franken 2.0 Let the investigation happen. Regardless Cuomo’s career has been destroyed already.

JOHN HARGRAVES

Rush to early judgment? No due process? Multiple swords – Cuomo bridge, nursing home COVID, 1 then 2 then 4 then 6 reports of sexual harassment. I’ll bet there will be more of something else even. Et tu Brutè? There is a Cassius somewhere with a lean and hungry look. The man is not a Roman Emperor, he’s an elected official in a democracy. Let the investigations proceed unhindered and let us learn the facts. Then judgment.

Peter Barber: What about the news that 53% of New Yorkers DON’T want him to resign?
What about the part that all we have to go on is allegations, creditable or not?
What about the part about fair and balanced reporting?
What about the part about “innocent until proven guilty”?

This a great snapshot of what’s wrong with the media, so sorry it has to be in this otherwise great newspaper.
