Junior bowling: Cardany, Auspelmyer, Mastrianni lead roundup

Aiden Cardany drilled a 278-702 at Sportsman’s Bowl, where Isabella Mastrianni hammered a 230-623 for the girls’ division feature, and Ethan Auspelmyer cranked out a 249-701 at Boulevard Bowl to lead this week’s junior bowling roundup.

Also at Boulevard Bowl, Angelo Galofaro blasted a 278-662, Steven Zarub pounded a 236-646, Derek Bellamy tossed a 236-616 and Camberon Bergeron rolled a 243-612 for the boys, while Madison Ruby topped the girls with a 223-566.

At Towne Bowling Academy, Savannah Swiatocha rolled a 250-614 and a 231-610 to take second and third, respectively, in the girls’ division. Khyreion Walker tossed a 214-566 to edge Jayson Capullo (229-565) for the boys’ featured triple.

Additional outstanding performances at Sportsman’s Bowl included 600 triples by Matt Julian (258-692, Tim Bush (256-666), Ryan Monty (247-657), Aiden Deitz (252-653), Sean Howlan (632) and Tyler Drexel (260-629.
