The Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake girls’ volleyball team secured a 25-8, 25-5, 25-12 win Monday against Averill Park in Suburban Council action.

Callie Chevalier had 17 kills in the victory, while Claire Isaksen added 25 assists. Carlie Rzeszotarski had eight kills and seven aces.

Columbia won 25-20, 25-18, 25-21 against Albany. Natalie Litrell had eight kills, Arricca Silliman contributed 15 assists and 12 digs, and Allison Silliman totaled six kills and nine digs.

Schenectady’s Gelmajony Marrero Martinez had 13 kills in the team’s 25-21, 25-18, 25-22 win against Bethlehem. Savannah Petersen added six aces.

Shaker defeated Colonie 22-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 27-25. Shaker’s Peyton Strand had 11 kills and Layla Shipley added 13 digs, while Colonie’s Paige Canter had 23 kills.

Gloversville’s Macey Salvione had 16 kills, a dozen digs and six aces in her team’s 25-16, 25-14 25-11 Foothills Council win against Scotia-Glenville, while Aireana Muhlberger added 30 assists. Maddy Avery added six kills and eight digs in the win.

Shenendehowa won 25-19, 25-14, 25-14 against Galway in a non-league match. Ryan Ennist had eight kills and seven assists, Grace Almeida had seven kills and seven blocks, Reagen Ennist contributed seven kills and Kasia Barletta had 20 digs.

Grant Baker scored all six of his team’s goals in Stillwater’s 6-2 Wasaren League boys’ soccer win against Saratoga Central Catholic. Baker scored four of his goals in the first half, and all six of his scores occurred in the game’s first 60 minutes.

Hoosick Falls’ Alex Salvesvold scored two goals and Greenwich’s Charlie Gartner’s had two goals in a 2-2 tie between their teams.

Andrew Kraszewski, Wyqie Aguda and Colin McNutt each had three goals in Mechanicville’s 12-0 win against Berlin/New Lebanon.

Schalmont topped Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 13-2 in a Colonial Council matchup. Drew Kusek had five goals and an assist, while Troy Leonard registered two goals and two assists, and Salmaan Haider added two goals.

Johnstown scored an 8-0 non-league field hockey win against Bethlehem to improve to 2-0 on the season. Taryn Ringer had three goals and two assists in the win, while Anna Lee and Ayaka Sasaki each had two goals.

In a 14-0 Foothills Council win for South Glens Falls against Glens Falls, Jillian Willis registered six goals and Lauren Willis scored four. Mia Benincasa added three goals.
