UAlbany women’s lacrosse gets back on track with 20-5 rout of Vermont

The UAlbany women’s lacrosse team rebounded Saturday from back-to-back losses to ranked teams in emphatic fashion, posting its most dominant performance of the seasonm, a 20-5 shellacking of Vermont in an America East contest at John Fallon Field.

Madison Conway scored six goals for UAlbany (3-1 America East, 6-3 overall), which was coming off consecutive losses to Stony Brook and Drexel. The Great Danes also got four goals and three assists from Katie Pascale, along with five goals and an assist from Kendra Harbinger.

UAlbany dominated early, scoring the game’s first six goals. After Vermont got two goals back, UAlbany responded with another 5-0 run. The Great Danes also scored the game’s final eight goals, shutting out Vermont (3-1, 3-3) over the final 27:09.
