High schools: Drago, Crounse carry Scotia-Glenville girls’ soccer past Gloversville

Brooklyn Drago had a goal and four assists, and Lucy Crounse scored three times as Scotia-Glenville beat Gloversville 10-1 in a Foothills Council girls’ soccer game Wednesday.

Rylee O’Connor and Sage Luke both added two goals for the Tartans.

Katie Krohn had three goals and an assist, and Megan Krohn had two goals and two assists in Schoharie’s 8-0 Western Athletic Conference win over Duanesburg.

Harry Haworth set up Albany Academy’s first goal and scored three himself to lead Albany Academy past Lansingburgh 7-0 in a Colonial Council boys’ soccer game. Sa Kler Moo scored two goals for the Cadets.

Voorheesville beat Cobleskill-Richmondville 2-0 on goals by Sean Bruno and Aiden Lawson.

Aidan Calhoun had 24 assists to go with four blocks and four aces, and Ben Pearce led Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake with 10 kills in a 25-14, 25-18, 25-20 Suburban Council boys’ volleyball win over Niskayuna. Camden Knight paced the Burnt Hills defense with 23 digs. Jason Gao had four kills for Niskayuna.

Tamarac beat Saratoga Catholic 25-12, 25-20, 25-17 in a girls’ Wasaren League volleyball match. Catrina Murphy had nine kills and Allie Motzer had 24 assists for the Bengals. Liz Best had three aces among her 11 service points, and Molly O’Reilly had seven digs for the Saints.

Deandra Myers delivered nine kills, Lila King had 17 assists and 12 defensive digs, and Mayfield won the final two sets to rally for a 25-19, 21-25, 16-25, 25-19, 25-15 non-league win over Johnstown. Sadie Blowers had 10 kills and 28 digs for Johnstown, and Teianna Vetraro collected 33 assists.
