Schenectady puts outdoor dropbox for payments at Franklin Street entrance

SCHENECTADY — A drop box for Bureau of Receipts payments at City Hall has been placed outside the building’s Franklin Street entrance, the city said Monday.

Those using the drop box should put their payment stub and check (or money order) in an envelope before placing them the drop box.

Receipts will be mailed to the address on the payment stub unless indicated otherwise.

For payment by mail, detach the stub and mail a check to City of Schenectady, PO Box 947, Schenectady, New York 12301.

If requesting a receipt, please mark the appropriate box on the payment coupon. If paying without the payment coupon, indicate the property address.

Pay online at www.cityofschenectady.com, click the “Online Payment” icon and follow the prompts.
