Driver sent to hospital after Friday morning crash in Glenville; parked SUV, trailer hit

GLENVILLE – A driver was taken to the hospital Friday morning after his car slammed into a parked SUV and trailer off Route 5, according to information available at the scene.

The drivers injuries were believed to be minor.

The crash happened shortly after 8 a.m. in front of 6554 Amsterdam Road, also known as Route 5.

The car slammed into the trailer and a Honda Pilot, breaking open the trailer. The car ended up on its side.

Beukendaal firefighters responded and could be seen tending to the driver and stabilizing the car.

Further information was not immediately available.
