Former Siena men’s basketball guard Jordan King is transferring to East Tennessee State, he announced Friday.

King, an Albany native who starred in high school for Christian Brothers Academy, entered into the NCAA transfer portal last month after a sophomore season that saw him average 12.2 points per game and earn an All-MAAC third-team selection in helping the Saints to a share of the 2020-21 MAAC regular-season championship.

Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports was the first to announce King’s destination, which King later confirmed with a social-media post.

King arrived at Siena as a preferred walk-on, and the 6-foot-0 guard was a scholarship player as a sophomore.

He will have three years of eligibility remaining at East Tennessee State.
