School football: Paffen powers Stillwater past Canajoharie/Fort Plain


Tyler Paffen accounted for three touchdowns — two rushing, one passing — and CJ McNeil scored on both offense and defense in leading Stillwater to a 49-0 Section II Class D football win over Canajoharie/Fort Plain on Sunday.

Paffen threw for 92 yards, including a 27-yard touchdown pass to Isaac Cutler-Mujjumbire that opened the scoring in the first quarter, and had touchdown runs of 26 and 51 yards as part of an 81-yard rushing performance.

McNeil had a 1-yard touchdown run and a 75-yard interception return for a score. Reese Hotaling and Gavin Baker added scores in the fourth quarter for the Warriors.
