SCHENECTADY – A driver was sent to the hospital after an early Saturday rollover on Weaver Street, according to information available at the scene.

The crash happened just after midnight on Weaver, near Edison Avenue.

The car struck a utility pole and ended up on its roof.

The driver, who could be seen standing as paramedics tended to him at the scene, was taken to Ellis Hospital for treatment.

Schenectady firefighters and police officers responded.
