CLIFTON PARK – A bank manager in Clifton Park stole more than $27,000 and forged numerous checks, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said Tuesday.

Renea E. Savona, 54, of Rose Court, Ballston Lake, was charged with third-degree grand larceny and two counts of second-degree forgery, felonies.

Investigators determined that Savona stole approximately $27,437 and forged numerous checks between October and January, all while employed as a bank manager at the KeyBank, 525 Vischer Ferry Road, Clifton Park, officials said.

Savona was arraigned and released to return to court later.
