HALFMOON – A Halfmoon man stole more than $24,000 worth of merchandise from the Halfmoon Home Depot through a series of unauthorized markdowns, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said.

Christopher M. Greklek, 53, of Woodbridge Circle, was arrested and charged with one count of third-degree grand larceny, a felony, officials said Tuesday.

Greklek is accused of taking the merchandise from January to March at the Crossings Boulevard store. In all, he is accused of receiving $24,303.68 worth of the unauthorized markdowns, officials said.

Greklek was arraigned and released to return to court later.
