The fire was called in just after 6 p.m. Thursday to the Weast Road residence.
Initial reports indicated someone was trapped inside the home. Responders, however, could not enter the residence due to the condition of the structure, state police said.
Once the fire was out, investigators were able to enter the residence and found the woman’s body inside.
A state police release Monday did not provide an update on the investigation into the cause of the fire.
