Responding troopers found the vehicle facing eastbound on the westbound shoulder. It was running and Mangroo was in the driver’s seat asleep, troopers said.
The trooper woke Mangroo and had him step out of the vehicle. The trooper could smell alcohol from Mangroo’s breath as Mangroo spoke.
Mangroo then failed field sobriety tests. He later gave a breath test that registered his blood alcohol content at 0.19 percent, above the legal limit of 0.08.
He was issued an appearance ticket and released to appear in court later.
