Her blood alcohol content tested at 0.30, troopers said.

Colleen M. Hopkins, 32, of Schenectady, was charged in the incident with one count of aggravated driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, troopers said.

State police stopped Hopkins on Route 9 in Halfmoon just after 5 p.m. Sunday evening after a series of traffic infractions, state police said.

When the trooper spoke with Hopkins after the stop, the trooper could smell the odor of alcohol and saw signs of intoxication. She then failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.

She gave a breath sample at the troopers’ barracks that came in at 0.30 percent, troopers said, nearly four times above the legal limit of 0.08.

Hopkins was processed and released on an appearance ticket to appear in court later.
