
ROTTERDAM – A car burned on westbound Interstate 890 Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. in the breakdown lane just before Rice Road.
South Schenectady firefighters responded, but the car could be seen engulfed in flames. A passerby could also be seen at one point trying to use a fire extinguisher on the vehicle.
