It’s time to drop the puck on the division finals of the 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

I think the rest of the playoffs will have a tough time living up to an exciting division semifinal round. We saw 16 overtime games, enthusiastic crowds, a most unlikely sweep by Winnipeg over Edmonton and the top two teams in the East Division, Pittsburgh and Washington, eliminated.

I went 5-3, pending the outcome of the North Division semifinal between Montreal and Toronto.

Here are my picks for the division finals.

EAST DIVISION

N.Y. Islanders vs. Boston — Boston in 6

CENTRAL DIVISION

Tampa Bay vs. Carolina — Tampa Bay in 7

NORTH DIVISION

Montreal vs. Winnipeg — Winnipeg in 5

WEST DIVISION

Vegas vs. Colorado — Colorado in 7
