SCHENECTADY — Schenectady Landlords Influencing Change will hold an in-person meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 35 Furman St.

The meeting will focus on the latest information about the eviction moratorium during the COVID-19 pandemic, the court system, and what landlords can expect in the months ahead.

Lt. Michael Gerasci of the Schenectady County Sheriff’s Department, lawyer Dan Binisan, and Donna Gonzalez, the Schenectady Community Action Program’s senior housing specialist, are among the invited speakers.

Real estate broker Harline Andrus will provide guidance on screening tenants.

A letter by state Sen. James Tedisco, R-Glenville, will be read, sharing the legislator’s “view of statewide housing policies harming landlords,” and the rental assistance loan-to-grant legislation he sponsored to help small landlords.

Contact SLIC director Chris Morris at [email protected] for an invitation to view the meeting via Zoom.
