Schenectady County is offering two places for residents to go as the weather heats up the next couple of days.

Temperatures are expected to rise to around 90 or above over the next few days, according to the National Weather Service website. County residents can go to either Bethesda House at 834 State St. or City Mission of Schenectady Welcome Center at 427 Hamilton St. to keep cool. They will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, according to Erin Roberts, the county’s communication director.

Roberts said health screenings, including temperature checks, will be done at Bethesda House. Masks will be required and provided if needed. Seating will be spaced out.

Roberts said she assumes City Mission will have the same guidelines in place.
