Saratoga Sheriff: Ballston Spa man stole more than $200K from employer

MOREAU – A Ballston Spa man stole more than $200,000 from his employer over a period of nearly nine years, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officials said.

Thomas J. Jaronski, 69, of Plum Poppy South, Ballston Spa, was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of second-degree grand larceny, a felony, officials said.

Jaronski is accused of taking the money in the Town of Moreau from September 2012 to last month. Investigators believe he took more than $200,000 during that time from his place of employment, officials said.

Jaronski was arraigned and released to return to court later.
