
SCHENECTADY – An early Monday fire on Albany Street destroyed a garage behind a home.

Responding firefighters arrived within a minute and found the two-story garage fully engulfed, Assistant Fire Chief Don Mareno said. Firefighters had it under control within about 20 minutes.
No one was inside and no injuries were reported.
The cause remained under investigation.
