WHAT HAS BEEN THE HARDEST PART OF THE LAST YEAR OF SCHOOL and THE MOST REWARDING: The hardest part was not being able to do the normal school things like sitting with your friends at lunch or going to your locker. The most rewarding part is knowing that all of my hard work and dedication throughout high school has paid off and I made it to the next level of my education.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT YOURSELF DURING THE PANDEMIC/HOW HAVE YOU CHANGED: I learned that I have to motivate myself to stay on top of my work. No one is there during the online days making me do my classwork, so I have to hold myself accountable. I think that I am more versatile now and I have a more positive outlook. Just like many other people, I had to adjust to doing online school every other day and our family had to readjust work arrangements. If I can cope with this drastic change, then I will have an easier time adjusting to new changes in the future.
WHAT IS THE MEMORY OF HIGH SCHOOL YOU WILL NEVER FORGET/WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: I will never forget our band trip to Hershey Park. We stayed overnight in a hotel nearby, performed a couple pieces of music in the morning, and then spent the rest of the day in the park. What I will miss most about high school is seeing my teachers.
