COLLEGE OR OTHER PLANS: Mechanical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
AFTER COLLEGE: Move to New Zealand and work as a mechanical engineer.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HARDEST PART OF THE LAST YEAR OF SCHOOL and THE MOST REWARDING: The initial lack of consistency with how classes operated. Overcoming all the struggles and maintaining good academic standing was by far the most rewarding.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT YOURSELF DURING THE PANDEMIC/HOW HAVE YOU CHANGED: I’ve learned the importance of other individuals in my life. I never really saw how lucky I was to have the family and friends I do, until I couldn’t see them for months. Knowing this, I will never take them for granted again.
WHAT IS THE MEMORY OF HIGH SCHOOL YOU WILL NEVER FORGET/WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: It is hard to pick a single memory, but all of the experiences and memories from my years in the PLTW (Project Lead The Way) classes. I’m going to miss the great people that I have made connections with over the 4 years.
