After college: Seek a job as an astronautical engineer, ideally as a part of NASA’s Mars rover missions.
What has been the hardest part of the last year of school and the most rewarding: The hardest part of this school year has been not seeing my friends as often and trying to adjust to a brand-new style of learning. The most rewarding part has been seeing everyone come together to support each other through the past year’s challenges.
What have you learned about yourself during the pandemic/how have you changed: I have learned that I can endure just about anything if I remain optimistic and focused on my goals. I’ve become more resilient and adaptable to change.
What is the memory of high school you will never forget: The band trip to Virginia in freshman year
What will you miss most about high school: Seeing my amazing friends and teachers from Fonda every day, and performing with band and chorus.

Best part about graduating: Getting to study what I love in college and pursue my dream career.
Who or what inspires you: My calculus teacher, Mrs. Waters, and my piano teacher, Mrs. VanDenburgh.
