PARENTS: Mark and Christine Belden
COLLEGE OR OTHER PLANS: St. Lawrence University
AFTER COLLEGE: I plan to work in the research field, primarily studying the treatment and core causes of mental disorders.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE HARDEST PART OF THE LAST YEAR OF SCHOOL and THE MOST REWARDING: The hardest part of the last year was being full remote due to medical concerns. The most rewarding part was definitely learning to adapt and better my time management skills as the year went on.
WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT YOURSELF DURING THE PANDEMIC/HOW HAVE YOU CHANGED: One thing I learned about myself during the pandemic is that I am able to adapt to situations better than I previously thought. I have also gotten better at managing my time and not getting worked up about every little thing.
WHAT IS THE MEMORY OF SCHOOL YOU WILL NEVER FORGET: One memory of high school that I won’t forget is our quiz team’s playoff bracket in 2019, where we managed to make a run as the bottom seed in the tournament and had a great time doing it.
WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: The thing that I’ll miss most about high school is the community within Schuylerville High School, and how close-knit everything is.
WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: It’s a mixture of Charli XCX, Earl Sweatshirt, Car Seat Headrest, and practically anything in between.

BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: I will never have to take another Regents exam again.
WHO OR WHAT INSPIRES YOU: My friends and family, who have always supported me.
