AFTER COLLEGE: Aspiring software engineer

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HARDEST PART OF THE LAST YEAR OF SCHOOL, and THE MOST REWARDING: It has been hard to find motivation to complete schoolwork while receiving remote-only instruction, but the lack of extracurricular activities had provided me with more time to pursue hobbies.

WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED ABOUT YOURSELF DURING THE PANDEMIC/HOW HAVE YOU CHANGED: I have learned that oftentimes, the consequences of the opinions o others exist solely in my head. So while I have not become complete indifferent to others’ opinions of me, I care far less that I did a year ago.

WHAT IS THE MEMORY OF SCHOOL YOU WILL NEVER FORGET/ WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: I will never forget jazz band rehearsals first thing I the morning. I will really miss being able to see my friends every day.
