Sophia Granger

Valedictorian

PARENTS: Christopher and Stacy Granger

COLLEGE OR OTHER PLANS: Stony Brook for biochemistry

AFTER COLLEGE: I hope to have a steady job, a cute apartment and many loved ones

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HARDEST PART OF THE LAST YEAR OF SCHOOL and THE MOST REWARDING: The pandemic has taught me how to go with the flow. Sometimes life throws curveballs, and you just have o deal with it and move on. There’s no sense in trying to control what is out of your control.

WHAT IS THE MEMORY OF SCHOOL YOU WILL NEVER FORGET: What I will miss most about high school is probably the strong sense of community. I think that what where here at CHS, and in Corinth as a whole, is pretty unique and valuable.

WHAT WILL YOU MISS MOST ABOUT HIGH SCHOOL: I will never forget the teachers that I’ve had here, and how intelligent and dedicated they are. They have had an enormous impact on my development in every sense.

WHAT’S IN YOUR MUSIC PLAYER: Mostly’90s alternative rock and modern rap.

FAVORITE BOOK OR AUTHOR: “A Dirty Job”

BEST PART ABOUT GRADUATING: How wide open and black my future is.
