Resident can enjoy an expanded Niskayuna Farmers’ Market starting Saturday.
The market, in its third year, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every Saturday until Oct. 16 at Niskayuna Town Hall, according to a release from the organizers of the market.
This years market will also include special events on select Saturdays, including fitness classes, cooking demonstrations and kids crafts. The market is also now a part of the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. That program provides coupons to people on the Women, Infants and Children’s program to use to buy select food items.
Hand sanitizer will be available at market entrances and those not vaccinated should wear a mask, according to the release.
