The Siena men’s basketball program will play a non-conference game during the 2021-22 season at Georgetown.

That Nov. 20 game at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., against the Patrick Ewing-coached Hoyas will see the Saints take on a program featuring multiple former Saints. Don Carey, who was a starter at Siena during the 2019-20 season, is now a starting guard for Georgetown, while former Siena head coach Louis Orr is a Georgetown assistant coach.

Georgetown announced the game against Siena with the release Tuesday of its non-conference schedule. Siena’s full non-conference schedule still has not been released.

Georgetown finished 13-13 last season. The Hoyas appeared in the NCAA tournament after winning the Big East tournament championship.

Siena and Georgetown last played during the 1973-74 season. Siena has won four of six matchups between the programs.
