Lefevre, 36, of Wilton, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense, felonies, along with misdemeanor reckless endangerment, state police said.
The incident happened early Saturday morning on Foxwood Drive in Clifton Park, troopers said. State police responded there for a domestic dispute in a vehicle.
Lefevre is accused of attempting to push the victim from the vehicle while it was moving and then successfully shoving them from the car once it came to a stop, state police said.
Troopers soon determined the victim was a protected party in a full stay-away order of protection against Lefevre, state police said.
Lefevre initially left the scene prior to troopers’ arrival, but returned and was taken into custody without incident.
He was arraigned and released to probation supervision to return to court later.
